Welcoming the stranger

With our theme this year of BeLonging we felt that we must reach out to those amongst us that might feel as if they are ‘strangers’ in this land. Especially given the events of recent weeks, we wish to extend the hand of friendship and a gospel welcome to all.
THIS MEANS that as a very simple gesture we would like you, as church leaders and attenders of Summer Madness, to use whatever connections you have into those ‘incoming communities’ or those who might feel like ‘strangers’ and invite them down to Summer Madness for the Sunday for free. It’s not a big deal and to be honest - we don’t even have the relationships (and time) to reach out properly ourselves :-(
So - Sunday is free for Strangers!
The simple way for someone to get a ‘free day ticket’ on this basis is just to use the promo-code ‘matt2535’ on the ticketing section of the App. Or if that seems too techie - just come along with!
Remember to check out the programme for yourself …and it’s time your young people were making their own decisions too :-)
P.S. - as always, we’ve had a few last minute changes to the programme (venue and timing shifts) so while we will have printed programmes and posters around at the festival, remember - the App is always Right!! :-)
IT’S LOOKING GOOD SO FAR!
You will notice a few changes around the site on arrival and while the weather has been fairly kind to us, we still want to protect the grass as much as possible. And the biggest danger to that is of course vehicles. Let’s keep as much green around us as possible - which all comes down to a little more ‘footwork’ and a little less ‘tyre spinning’.
