From now till the festival we will be sending out little teasers for the programme 2025 - so buckle up and get browsing sharing!
You may be thinking that the chances of your young people using their phones to check the SM programme during the festival is very much dependent on battery technology - but remember.
We will have the printed / condensed programme pull-out printed for your collection, on arrival at the festival.
And there will be a noticeboard onsite displaying the daily offerings! And even the odd announcement from mainstage of some of the programme highlights.
Nevertheless, now is a good time to share the programme with your group and they can begin to plot out their route through Madness…
So just to whet your appetite, look out for these:
Seminars - Anything that Dan Blyth is doing!, Pastor David Legge on Where is God in the pain?, the ‘Chatroom’ - putting down your phone and learning how to ask great questions - for real!..…. and of course have you heard about the one with the Bishop, the Grand-master of the Black Institution and the former barrister/Catholic deacon walk in to a festival….. to talk about National Allegiances!
Arts - Jesus Loves Electro - and if you don’t believe me / them, check it out here on their youtube channel (all the way from Norway no less)
Sports, games and water! - Bookings open on Monday 9th - including for showers :-)
QR code - further explanation:
If you have any problems with sorting out your group with QR codes - do please just get in touch. Your young people can keep the QR code on the SM app - downloaded from the store or just carry around a simple bit of card with the QR printed on it. Each camper can print out their own code or the group leader can sign-in to their group’s booking and print them all out in one go (9 to a page) - and hand them out. (see below)..
